SHE WHO MUST BE READ #1

REFLECTIONS

(Written October 1993)

You lie beneath me , or is it above , beside , around - where are you?  Your shape intoxicates - a fatal mix with the alcohol already consumed.  A sense of inadequacy takes over - heightened by the knowledge that I am here by default.

This is not my rightful place - nor will it ever be.

I came willingly - drawn by an attraction too strong to deny or withstand.  But you - are your motives so honourable, or is revenge the driving force behind your caresses?  Men have hurt and humiliated you, so what better way is there to turn the tide, than to take temporary refuge in the arms of another woman.  But wait, I watch as you discover me with your fingertips and tongue.  There is desire in your eyes, and you take delight in what you find.

Reasons pale into insignificance, I determine to blot out all thoughts of tomorrow - whilst enjoying this present moment. For these few precious hours you belong solely to me, and I to you.  This will suffice - I love you.

I wrote this to try and make sense of my first, and less than satisfactory, sexual experience.
